Blantyre Team is one of the teams supporting charitable activities in various districts in Malawi.
The team was formed and led by Mariah Mafunga, Lilian Ndala, Maureen Eliya along with Alice Pikani and Lyness Zimalirana.
This team is working under Akazhowa Kids Care Foundation. Blantyre Team has visited Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital and other areas to support vulnerable children.
The foundation aims to support children facing various challenges in hospitals, villages, schools, and streets across Malawi. From Nsanje to Chitipa, we make donations whenever possible.
We support each other in times of need, such as illness, accidents, or funerals, and contribute K10,000 as condolence. On birthdays, we celebrate with K5000 as a gift.
We also offer loans of K100,000 or 1 Million Kwacha to help young people start small businesses and support children at the foundation.
Additionally, we offer skills training in tailoring, saloon, barbering, and more, with opportunities to work in South Africa.
