MEET ANNIE PHIRI THE GOSPEL ARTIST.

Annie Phiri aged 36 is a female gospel artist from Mzimba T/A Mtwalo currently based in South Africa. She is happily married and blessed with 2 kids.

Annie developed interest in music sometime back when she was in standard 3. She used to sing at church in a choir which was popular known as Edundu CYF CCAP Church, she then later stood on her own as a gospel artist.

Annie said she was inspired by Grace Chinga and Violet Tengani who were hot by then but due to problems of money she couldn’t manage to record her own songs. Her way became brighter when she moved to South Africa where she now had the potential to record her own songs.

After few years of preaching the gospel through music, Annie has cooked an album for her fans titled “YESU NI NTHOWA”. The album has 10 songs and it has been produced by Paul Kamwendo.

In an interview with Malawiwanga.com, Annie said she is almost done recording all the songs and that its gonna be out end of this month. The album will be available on malawiwanga.com for free downloads.
