REGINA MKANDAWIRE MALAWIAN FEMALE GOSPEL ARTIST #PROFILE

Regina Mkandawire is a talented Malawian gospel artist from Kapindula, Traditional Authority Kaomba in Kasungu. She spent her childhood in Lilongwe and is now based in Mzuzu. Born on September 18, 1983, Regina comes from a large family of 13 children. She is a happily married woman, blessed with three beautiful children – two boys and one girl.

Regina’s music journey began in her youth, inspired by family members singing in the Mtsita CCAP Church choir in Kasungu. She progressed from participating in the choir to elevating her music career. After a dream about performing on stage, she joined the Dzenza CCAP Praise Team in Lilongwe (2010) and later, while in Mzuzu, joined the St Andrews CCAP Praise Team (2019) and Angelic Ministry Praise Team.

Regina’s debut song, “Simphavu,” was released on June 7, 2025, as a dual audio and video production by M-A Studio and Eminent.

With her powerful voice and heartfelt lyrics, Regina aims to inspire and uplift her listeners. Her music reflects her strong faith and commitment to spreading God’s message.

As a gospel artist, Regina is dedicated to using her platform to bring people closer to God. She believes her music is a gift from God, and she’s grateful for the opportunity to share it with the world.
